Launa Sorensen published her first novel at 17, and has been actively working in creative fields ever since. She's published over 50 works (including novels, novellas, shorts, and comic books as herself and as a ghost writer) and works occasionally as an illustrator. She also owns her own film production company, "Beginning of Heaven Studios," where she has produced dozens of projects including feature films, webseries, and nonprofit projects for children with special needs. Her love of film also expanded into an acting career.
In her down time, she runs a Youtube channel with her sister, Ashlen, called "The Second Breakfast Club" that celebrates fandom and nerdery (but primarily their love of Korean band BTS). She has a past as a dancer and dance teacher. She loves to travel (her favorite city so far was her trip to Seoul). She also educates on various health issues (primarily mental health and lipedema) and volunteers in her local queer community.
Basically, if it's nerdy/creative she's probably done it and made money off it at some point. She's dedicated first and foremost to good stories and community development in whatever form that takes.
